We start with the body, explore the cosmos through movement and always return to embodiment. Integral movement is a Full Body practice which integrates Full Mind, Full Heart and Full Spirit.
The core consists of five verbs: center - open - expand - blend - integrate.
c-o-e-b-i. The coebi-dynamic, the coebi-principle, the coebi-being.
Verbs are not a concept, they are immediately dynamic.
This is what we explore and cultivate, differentiate and integrate.
To do so, we accompany coebi with sensing-feeling and witnessing.
coebi unfolding through sensing-feeling brings forth embodied fulness.
coebi unfolding through witnessing brings forth embodied presence.
Since integral movement is truly integral, we don't limit movement and us to the physical level. Without getting trapped in concepts, we simply refine our movement through subtilizing (which unfolds energetic movement) and essentializing (which unfolds causal movement).
Since we work with verbs and not with fixed methods, stiles and forms, integral movement can be cultivated by and for every way of movement on every level of mastership. This is hard to grasp for folks dedicated to only one tradition, only one school or style of movement. Once they get the point, they see that integral movement doesn't add anything from the outside to their way of movement (and perception, interpretation) but simply unfolds its potential from the inside in a refreshing, new and exciting way.
The quadrants of Ken Wilber's integral theory are a concrete learning field in integral movement. We tape it on the ground (or visualize it) and practice in the different quadrants, enabling different aspects and perspectives to embody. Since we are involved as human beings exploring our potential and not just as practitioners exercising a method, the integral model also helps us to refine our experiences on an interpretational level.
To explore the full potential, we can work with integral movement alone or with partners.
For. Every. Body.
Integral movement is on its way to flow into the world. Until now you find courses in Europe. Martin Schmid teaches in English as well. You have two possibilities available to explore integral movement with him.
Contact Martin and just join the ride by participating in courses in Switzerland, Germany and Corsica. Martin will simply teach in German and English.
Too far, too German? Let Martin come to you. He loves to travel.
Let's move!
